We are delighted to announce that we have just added two new partner vineyards to our Wine Experience.  You can now also adopt a vine at Domaine Stentz-Buecher in Alsace, and at Domaine la Cabotte in the Rhône Valley.

One is situated in the cool of the Alsatian mountains, the other under the blue skies and sunshine of the Mediterannean.  One offers an aromatic fresh white wine, the other a powerful and fruity red wine.  Two differing organic vineyards, but each sharing an infectious passion for the art of winemaking that has been handed down from generation to generation.

 

Domaine Stentz-Buecher, Wettolsheim, Alsace

Domaine Stentz-Buecher is located in the heart of the Alsace wine route, close to the pretty town of Colmar.  As with all of our partners, the vines are organically certified, enabling the wines to best convey the richness of the terroir.

 

The wine chosen for the Gourmet Odyssey Wine Experience is the Pinot Gris Rosenberg, which is made from grapes grown in the estate’s principal vineyard.  This delicious white wine is slightly smokey as is the custom in good Pinot Gris wines, has hints of honey and dried fruits, and has a lovely long finish.

Domaine la Cabotte, Mondragon, Vallée du Rhône

Domaine la Cabotte is to be found near Mondragon, in the southern part of the Côtes de Rhône region.  An idyllic setting for nature lovers, it’s also a great spot for wine lovers!  Here, the vines are not only cultivated organically, but they are also biodynamically certified.

The wine chosen for the Gourmet Odyssey Wine Experience is the Massif d’Uchaux Côtes du Rhône Village red wine, “Garance”.  This is a complex and powerful red that perfectly balances both the fruity and spicy characteristics.
