The Christmas gift website, Noël de la French Tech, launched today, and the Gourmet Odyssey Wine Experience has been selected amongst the best 2015 Christmas Gift ideas.

The Noël de la French Tech's goal is to promote the most innovative Christmas gifts from 200 start-ups and is sponsored by the French Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Industry. The idea is to help support start up companies in the quest for original gifts to put under the Christmas tree.

We were chosen for our unique adopt-a-vine concept, a unique wine experience gift that enables you to not only adopt some vines, but to get involved and participate in making your own organic wine.

What sets the Wine Experience apart from traditional winery visits or wine tasting sessions, is the direct involvement of the recipients in the production of their wine and the privileged contact that they have with the organic winemakers to discover the skills and passion needed for this fascinating profession.

The adoptive vine owners follow each of the key steps from the vine to the bottle via the Gourmet Odyssey customer portal where they can access the newsletters and photos of the winemakers and their work. And for those that want to roll up their sleeves, they can also add experience days at the winery to work alongside the winemaker.

The Gourmet Odyssey Wine Experience is available from € 159, and the price varies depending on the number of vines that are adopted, the winery chosen, and the number of experience days included.
