Located on the banks of the Garonne river, Château Beau Rivage is a small, organic winery with 8ha of vines. The meticulous selection of grape varieties, and the traditional methods used in cultivating the vines and in the vinification process, ensures that Château Beau Rivage consistently produces high quality wines that have nothing to envy of their more prestigious Médoc neighbours.
Château Beau Rivage is a serial award winner for their Bordeaux Supérieur and Haut-Médoc wines. This year they are included in the Bettane & Desseauve and Guide Hachette des Vins de France 2016 wine guides. The Clos la Bohème, Haut-Médoc, Cru Bourgeois wine is awarded a star in each of the guides, the 2011 vintage in the first, and the 2012 vintage in the second. This wine also won a gold medal at the Challenge Millésime Bio 2016 organic wine competition.
Château Beau Rivage produces red and rosé wines from the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec vines that grow in the lime clay soil.
