To celebrate the birth of a new baby and find the perfect new-born gift for parents, the new dad or mum, adopt some vines in an award-winning French organic winery, and create your own personalised bottles of wine from the year of the baby’s birth.

Through the Gourmet Odyssey Wine Experience gift, the new parents will also become the adoptive parents of some organic vines for the same vintage and year as the baby’s birth! The Wine Experience new parent gift pack includes a few presents to start the special vintage straight away such as a wine cooler bag, a re-usable wine bottle stopper, a DropStop and personalised adoption certificate. The adoptive parents will nurture their vines and follow their progress through the customer portal as they grow and the grapes are used to make the wine. At the end of the experience they can name the wine, personalise the labels with the name of the baby, and will receive one bottle of wine for each adopted vine!

You can also get the new parents to participate in the making of the wine by including one or more of the Wine Experience Days. They will spend a day at the winery in France, and can choose to make a weekend of it (with or without the baby!) to enjoy a well-deserved break. During the Wine Experience Day they will meet their adopted vines, interact with the winemakers, and get involved in working in the vineyard or cellar depending on the type of day and season.
