Gourmet Odyssey, the specialist provider of French gourmet experiences, announced the launch of a new introductory adopt-a- vine package.

Clients of the Gourmet Odyssey Wine Experience can now adopt 6 vines in France for a wine making year, follow the progress of their vines, the making of their wine, and receive 6 personalised bottles of wine at the end of their wine experience.

Clients can choose to adopt vines in multiples of 6, up to 36 adopted vines, and receive the same number of personalised bottles of wine as the number of vines they choose to adopt.

Mark Bootherstone, the founder of Gourmet Odyssey, says that “the Gourmet Odyssey Wine Experience is an original wine gift for any wine connoisseur. As well as giving wine lovers the opportunity to adopt a vine in France, they also get to experience the whole wine making process from the pruning of the vines, through the harvest of the grapes, the blending and ageing in the cellar, to the bottling and reception of their own personalised bottles of French organic wine. “

Clients of the Gourmet Odyssey Wine Experience receive regular updates from the wine maker at their chosen vineyard to follow the making of their wine virtually. They can also choose from up to three wine experience days to participate in some of the key aspects of wine making and get a behind the scenes experience of the vineyard. The three wine experience days that are available are the Discovery Experience Day, the Harvest Experience Day and the Vinfication Experience Day.

Gourmet Odyssey has partnered with Domaine Chapelle in Santenay, Burgundy and with Château Beau Rivage, Macau-en-Médoc in the Bordeaux region. Domaine Chapelle has been certified by Qualité France as a French organic wine producer. Château Beau Rivage is currently in the third year of converting to become an organic wine producer. Both vineyards have received many medals and accolades from the wine industry.
