The Gourmet Odyssey Wine Experience at Château Beau Rivage, near Bordeaux, has been chosen to appear in the “Destination Vignobles en Médoc” (Destination Médoc Vineyards) 2010-11 tourist guide. This is the official wine tourism guide compiled by the Conseil des Vins du Médoc (Médoc Wine Council).

Inclusion in the guide is only possible after the wine council has reviewed the wine tourism activities in the region and deemed that they are of a high enough standard to be included.

Adopt your own Vines and Become a Wine Maker!

Get behind the scenes and see what it’s really like to be a winemaker. Adopt your own vines at Château Beau Rivage for a winemaking year, follow all the stages of making your wine, and receive your own-labelled bottles of wine at the end of the experience.

You can choose up to three wine experience days to visit the château, meet the winemaker, and get involved yourself in helping to make your wine by pruning the vines, harvesting the grapes or helping with the blending… Wine tasting and winemaker’s meal are also included in the programme!
